The Stone Soup Project

Thanks to the Governments recent Future Jobs Initiative and the support we have received from 3SC, The Stone Soup Project are happy to announce that we have been successful in applying for a number of jobs within the organisation to support our work and tackle unemployment caused by the recession.

We have been interviewing some of our new recruits about their experiences of being unemployed and what the Future Jobs Fund has done for them, a selection of their views can be seen in the video below.

This influx of new staff enables us to develop new community based projects to serve our community in ways we would not have been able to in the past. So far we have created 18 new jobs with a further 23 due to start over March and April 2010. We thank 3SC, Job Centre Plus and Ingeus for all their support without which none of this would have been possible and we also give a huge thanks to the keen, committed and highly skilled workforce we have begun to employ. The future starts here!
